<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 500px;" src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/BokBok Logo Landscape.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1356178282234" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Bok Bok is a game for 2-22 player, the basic premise is to spin 2 category wheels and then name a corresponding answer: For example, name a BAND with an ANIMAL in the name, players then take it in turns to guess and stop the clock when they get one e.g The Eagles, The Beatles, Cat Stevens....</p>
<p>Far more comprehensive rules can be seen <a href="http://www.bokbokapp.com/rules/">HERE</a></p>

<p>It's amazing to play in the pub with friends and can easily be used as a drinking game or as a challenge to decide who's round it is.</p>
<p>Literally hours of fun for just 69p</p>
<p>It's the first iphone app I've had that can genuinely be used as a group activity, rather than just staring at a screen on your own and will definitely be replace charades as the post dinner family game this Christmas in the Ramart household.</p>
<p>So if you're wondering what to use your itunes vouchers you recieved for christmas on, look no further.</p>
<p>Learn more about the app at the <a href="http://www.bokbokapp.com/">Official Site</a> and download it <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/bokbok/id587452596?ls=1&amp;mt=8">HERE</a></p>

<p>I've created a brand new multilayer stencil for the occasion Johnny Cash and a new material, old vinyl records, that I've spray painted using my usual stencil technique.</p>
<p>As a fan of a poor pun, I was originally just going to do a set of Johnny Cash and basically leaving 'Free Cash....</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 500px;" src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Ramart-Free-art-Friday-Stencil-Vinyl-Johnny-Cash-4.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1351964307671" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>but then I got carried away and made a few others:</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 500px;" src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Ramart-Free-art-Friday-Stencil-Vinyl-Johnny-Cash-6.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1351964343829" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Each one is numbered on the reverse..</p>

<p><br />So next week, Friday 09/11/12 I will set about leaving quite a few bits and pieces throughout the Derbyshire dales, I hope they find nice homes.. keep your eyes out...</p>

<p>They hold Bill Murray in very high regard (which is never a bad thing) and created their own mashup of Shepard Fairey's 'Hope' and 'Obey' posters to create a Bill Murray 'Laugh' print, despite many failed attempts to purchase a print I opted to create my own canvas of the piece with stencils and spray-paint.</p>
<p>&nbsp;<span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img style="width: 400px;" src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Bill-Murray-KCCO-CHive-Stencil-Canvas-Ramart.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346960662502" alt="" /></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>They have also got their own take on the 'Keep Calm' signs, which are insanely popular on their t-shirts and sell out in minutes.</p>
<p>I decided to make my own canvas version of this as well, so thought I'd stick down the steps here if you were feeling creative.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>What you will need:</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;<span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Equipment-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346960728048" alt="" /></span></p>
<p>Cutting Implement - I Use an Xacto handle with no.11 blades</p>
<p>Cutting Mat - Saves your surfaces suffering slices</p>
<p>Card - I Use 210gsm card</p>
<p>Paint - I'm using 'Valley Green' Montana Hardcore (gloss) and White MTN94 (Matt)</p>
<p>Mask - Safety First</p>
<p>Patience - It may take some time to cut</p>
<p>Weights - I use coins to weigh down the stencil, others use spray mount glue, but coins, nuts and bolts work for me</p>
<p><strong>Step 1 - Spray your canvas background</strong></p>
<p>&nbsp;<span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img style="width: 400px;" src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Blank-Canvas-Finished-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346960815663" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 2 - Get Cutting</strong></p>
<p>While that's drying you can get to the cutting mat, print out the chosen lettering/logo either directly onto card (if you have a nice large printer) or print onto paper and stick onto your card...Cut out letters (Make sure you keep the 'islands' which are the insides of the letters, you'll need them later)</p>
<p>&nbsp;<span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive-3.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346960871590" alt="" /></span></p>
<p>The crown logo also needs the inside details cutting out, so that detail can be added.</p>
<p><strong>Step 3 - Admire your stencil creation</strong>, place against a dark background to see how it will look, if you've gone wrong there's nothing that a piece of masking tape and a recut can't fix.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346960893637" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 4 - Prep for spraying</strong></p>
<p>Line up stencil on canvas, weigh down edges of each letter to reduce underspray and cover any part of the canvas that you don't want to paint, to reduce overspray.</p>
<p>Place islands back inside relevant letters and weigh down.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Ready-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961011607" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 5 - Spray Away</strong></p>
<p>Shake can for at least 1 minute.</p>
<p>For best results hold can about 12 inches away from canvas and spray sparingly, better to do several light layers and leave a few minutes in between to dry rather than clagging it up and risking seepage.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Pray-Paint-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961061605" alt="" /></span><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-White-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961096331" alt="" /></span><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Spray-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961117849" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 6 - Remove stencil to see how it's gone</strong></p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Reveal-Canvas-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961147489" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 7</strong> - Once Dry place back the crown logo that was previously cut, to add the detail with the green paint.</p>
<p><strong>Step 8</strong> - Stick on a wall and feel like you've created something</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Canvas-Finished-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961209212" alt="" /></span><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Stencil-Canvas-Finished-Cut-Ramart-KCCO-CHive-2.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1346961235758" alt="" /></span></p>
<p><strong>Step 9 - <span style="font-size: 140%;">KCCO!</span></strong></p>

<p>Thought I'd post up the steps involved incase anyone was interested, so here they are...</p>
<p>What you will need:</p>
<p>Spraypaint - I use Montana spraypaint and for this piece used 5 colours (Black, White, Steel Grey, Dark Grey, Light Grey)</p>
<p>Something to cut with - I use an X-acto No.11 Blade</p>
<p>Stencil Material - I Use 210Gsm Card</p>
<p>Something to spray on - I Used an 'upcycled' (Previously used and re-primed) canvas as i do with all of my first editions in this size.</p>
<p>Patience and persistance</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>First step, cut the different stencil layers, one for each shade to be used. In this piece I cut 4 main stencils but there are actually 10 seperate layers within them that will be used.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334918950630" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer one sprayed (Steel Grey Base Layer)</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-3.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334918988787" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer 2 Sprayed</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-4.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334919017090" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer 3 Sprayed (This is stencil one used again to overlap layer 2 and give the detail to the lower face)</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-5.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334919042885" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer 4 Sprayed (Light Grey detail)</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-6.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334919071225" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer 5 &amp; 6 Sprayed (Black and white both on same stencil)</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.ramart79.com/storage/Mario-Balotelli-Ramart-Stencil-Canvas-7.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1334919107196" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Layer 6 Sprayed (Smaller details added)</p>
